About the Role
This position involves leading the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of plant-specific nuclear Operations training programs to drive personnel performance improvement in a clean energy center (CEC).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training aligned with systematic training models and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain updated training programs incorporating industry reports, NRC bulletins, procedures, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare examinations, evaluate trainees, and develop individualized training plans.
- Support business initiatives, project management, outage support, emergency preparedness, and participate in audits and compliance activities.
- Supervise training records and reports.
- Achieve Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification within 18 months.
- Perform additional duties such as emergency response and outage support as needed.
Requirements
- 6 years of relevant experience as an Equipment Operator or related roles, or an associate's degree with 4 years of nuclear background, or a bachelor's degree in engineering/science with 3-4 years of nuclear experience.
- Current or previous licensed Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification.
- Knowledge of nuclear training standards (ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014) and experience with systematic approach to training (SAT) preferred.
- Ability to maintain unescorted access and pass medical examinations.
