About the role
As Blank Street's Training Coordinator, you will support the team on all training initiatives, ensuring high product quality performance across multiple locations. Your responsibilities include coaching the field team on Blank Street standards, conducting product quality assessments, and creating actionable reporting to help field teams improve.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, validate, and track each barista's journey through the new hire training program
- Support the new hire training process in the field by leading group orientations, in-store training, and facilitating the barista final assessment
- Provide area training support by conducting shift lead training certifications, assisting with new product launches, and key initiatives
- Manage and track compliance across multiple platforms for training completion, accreditation velocity, daily store performance, and more
- Conduct robust quarterly product quality assessments for all Boston, DC, and NYC stores and assist in the development of unique, actionable reporting
- Develop and foster cross-functional relationships to provide insight into store performance
- Be an inspirational leader full of coffee knowledge and passion for the craft, tailoring training approaches to individuals to ignite passion and the desire to pour love into every cup of coffee made
- Build and foster a learning culture at Blank Street, keeping teams motivated, engaged, and excited to learn
Requirements
- Coffee knowledge and expertise
- Customer and employee experience obsessed
- Experience training within an established brand
- Ability to create thoughtful and detailed training content and action plans
- Product quality obsessed
- Strong multitasker with proven ability to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
Qualifications
- This is a full-time role (50 hours per week, 5 days a week)
- Requires flexibility to work outside of store operating hours, including weekends, as necessary
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and product quality standards

- $70,000 annual base salary
