Training Coordinator
About the role
The Training Coordinator is responsible for the development and oversight of the Academy Training Program for Access Services and some Clinic onboarding. They also develop and train the gateway teams for access of services to AMHS, and oversee the department policy and procedure manual.
Responsibilities
- Developing and training the gateway teams for access of services to AMHS.
- Creating a creative, multi-dimensional training program for the adult learner, ensuring competency is fairly assessed.
- Training of new system updates and enhancements, as well as overseeing the department policy and procedure manual.
- Working closely with the Hospital, Practice, Center for Excellence, and Training Leadership Team to ensure the training program supports changing operations of a diverse population in multiple system applications (see below).
- Designing and delivering dynamic instruction with emphasis on patient-centered customer service for Access Services staff, focusing on healthcare Access Services for Preservice functions (Scheduling, Pre-registration, Insurance Eligibility and Verification, Authorization and Referral Management) for Hospital and Practice.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Training Coordinator with a specialized focus on Access Services to join our team. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance employees' understanding of registration functions, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in Access Services roles and a passion for facilitating effective learning experiences.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
