The Undersea Technology Portfolio within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division conducts rigorous analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies for emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises.

SPA is seeking a Training Analyst to support NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office (PMS 340).

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain training materials for Fleet operators, maintainers, and program stakeholders.
• Conduct training needs assessments and create instructional content.
• Facilitate classroom and hands-on training sessions.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program teams to ensure training products reflect current system capabilities and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, training, instructional design, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience developing or delivering training for DoD or Navy programs.
• Experience creating instructional materials, lesson plans, or technical training content.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications (Desired)

• Familiarity with NAVSEA programs, Fleet training environments, or PMS 340 mission areas.
• Experience with blended learning approaches, including e-learning tools or simulation-based training.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learner groups.

Pay

DC Pay Transparency Range: $70,000 – $92,000 per year (non-exempt).

Virginia Pay Transparency Range: $70,000 – $92,000 per year.

Salaries are commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
