Trailer Mechanic with Fabrication

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair.
• Trailer suspension installation and repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (preferred).
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).

Requirements

• Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DOT certified mechanics with 3-5+ years of tank & trailer repair experience.
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Qualifications

Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole. Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Pay

Pay Range: $25.00 to $39.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Schedule

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm.
