About the role
We are seeking a DOT registered inspector mechanic with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets.
- Trailer suspension installation and repair.
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
- Use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills.
- TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience.
- Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
Requirements
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Able to fit through a tank trailer manhole.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
Qualifications
Proven safety program resources.
Skills
