Trailer Mechanic

Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets.
- Trailer suspension installation and repair.
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
- Able to use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills.
- TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Fit through a tank trailer manhole.
- Work in confined spaces.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience.

Skills
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: Ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Pay
$22.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
