Traffic Support Opr. Richmond Swing Shift, 2:00PM - 10:15PM
Job Description
General Summary: Job will include setting up, loading, unloading, or warehousing of product or supplies with a forklift. Swing Shift Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up, load, unload, or warehouse product or supplies with a forklift.
- Operate a forklift in narrow aisles and safely transport materials to and retrieve materials from various production equipment locations.
- May operate a pallet jack.
- Ensure warehouse and transaction accuracy, and produce reports as necessary, manage inventory of both product and supplies.
- Learn and use SAP for data entry on forklift computer terminals, handhelds, and desktop computers.
- Maintain work areas, collect quality control samples, and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
- Perform safety inspections of forklift before use and fill out safety inspection forms on each shift.
- Must pass a medical exam, written, and practical exams to qualify as a forklift operator.
- Repetitively load and unload ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of standard safety and operation procedures for lift trucks.
- May be assigned to work at alternate facility locations in North Logan or Logan, or work Saturdays or Sundays.
- May be required to work other shifts as assigned.
- Maintain a clean work environment at warehouse facilities, including occasional janitorial duties (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Comply with all site and equipment safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.
Minimum Education Required
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment. PREFERRED: Forklift operation experience.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.65. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
