Driver-A Shift (MON-FRI 6 AM-- 2:30 PM)

About the role

As a Driver on the A Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM), you will ensure reliable and efficient transport of goods by verifying shipment documentation, loading and unloading freight, and delivering to and recovering from customer locations using company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment bills for required information and load freight onto trucks.
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions against shipper’s calculations.
• Perform and maintain daily safety and security checks on assigned vehicle and freight.
• Deliver and recover freight to/from customer locations using company vehicles.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatch and warehouse teams.
• Interact with warehouse/data center team members to maximize output and efficiency.
• Adapt to frequent change requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure proper documentation for any Hazardous Materials being moved.
• Inspect truck and trailer equipment for road worthiness; report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Use RF and/or computer systems for trailer inventory control.
• Meet all Federal and State qualification standards for commercial drivers, including DOT and FMCSR requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Climbing (ascending/descending stairs, using feet/legs and hands/arms) up to 25% of the time.
• Kneeling (bending legs at knee) up to 25% of the time.
• Crouching (bending body downward and forward) up to 25% of the time.
• Reaching (extending hands and arms) 25–75% of the time.
• Standing, particularly for sustained periods, 25–75% of the time.
• Walking (moving about to accomplish tasks) 25–75% of the time.
• Pushing (using upper extremities to press against objects) 25–75% of the time.
• Pulling (using upper extremities to draw/drag/haul objects) more than 75% of the time.
• Lifting (raising objects or moving horizontally) 25–75% of the time, requiring substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
• Repetitive motions (wrists, hands, shoulders, and/or fingers) 25–75% of the time.
• Grasping (applying pressure with fingers and palm) 25–75% of the time.
• Talking (expressing ideas by spoken word) 25–75% of the time, including conveying detailed or important instructions.
• Hearing (receiving detailed information through oral communication) 25–75% of the time, including making fine sound discriminations.

Pay

Expected base pay range is $30.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
