Job Summary
The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and administering Total Rewards programs that promote team member engagement, ensure organizational competitiveness, and align with long-term strategies. This role drives the compensation and benefits philosophy and strategy, enhances total rewards plans and programs, and manages various programs including compensation, benefits, payroll, wellness, and HRIS.
What You’ll Do
- Drive compensation and benefits philosophy and strategy.
- Partner with Talent Attraction + Engagement team members, Hiring Managers, and key business leaders.
- Leverage technology to create system-driven processes.
- Develop cost models, forecast analyses, and plan design recommendations on a variety of programs, budgets, and tools.
- Proactively research and analyze total reward policies and programs, making recommendations for enhancements.
- Manage and administer welfare plans including health, dental, life, vision, and disability plans.
- Review benefit plan competitiveness and make recommendations to meet Credit Union and team member needs.
- Conduct annual benefit Open Enrollment and Life Event changes.
- Counsel team members on benefit issues and selection.
- Assure compliance with applicable regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Human Resource laws and regulatory compliance in Compensation & Benefits.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for and engage with team members when they experience difficulty communicating with carriers or vendors.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and proven ability to handle confidential information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years work experience administering compensation and benefit programs.
- Prior work experience with HRIS programs required.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Benefit Professional (CBP) designation preferred but not required.
