Key Responsibilities
- Lead the tooling department, managing a team of toolmakers and engineers on a given shift.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets performance and safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend tool life.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues.
- Maintain documentation related to tooling specifications, maintenance records, and process improvements.
- Responsible for life cycle of torque tooling i.e. Cleco, Atlas Copco and Estics.
Basic Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of industrial automation maintenance experience, including some supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of power tools, and manufacturing processes
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with Crane systems and tooling lifecycle management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
