Supervisor

Job Details Description The Passenger Service and/or Ramp Supervisor oversees daily ramp operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and on-time servicing of aircraft. This role supervises ramp agents and coordinates aircraft ground handling activities including loading/unloading baggage, cargo operations, aircraft marshaling, and ground equipment management while maintaining strict compliance with FAA, TSA, airline, and airport regulations. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be 18 years of age or olderHS Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License One (1) years of front-line ramp experience or similar role Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in a similar or related roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skillsMust have a reliable mode of communication and transportation Preferred Requirements Airline or airport operations experienceLeadership experience in the airline or airport operations experience Essential Functions Conduct training sessions on various topics, such as customer service, technical skills, compliance, or product knowledgeManage the day-to-day operations within the primary area of responsibility for scheduling/staffing, managing daily budgeted hours, and limiting overtimePerform all duties of subordinate employees when necessaryEnsure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)Implement a safety plan for the stationMaintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and preventative actions where necessaryTrain/retrain all personnel in airline procedures, safety procedures, and company policiesMaintain good employee relations. Handle employee problems efficiently and effectivelyClient Relations -- Effectively communicate with senior airline management and project a positive image in responding to airlines, staff, and public inquiriesAdhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectivesMonitor employee activity and adjust as neededHandle off-schedule operations when the Manager is not availablePerform other duties as requested Physical And Mental Demands With or without reasonable accommodation, the position requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
