About the role

The Tools and Equipment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all tools and equipment are tracked, maintained, and available for projects. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain logbooks for tool and equipment related items.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in working order and maintain them accordingly.
  • Order and rent tools as needed.
  • Communicate any issues or problems with management.
  • Perform minor repairs to keep tools and equipment operational.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with all tool and equipment safety rules and procedures.
  • Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Understanding of project requirements and the importance of delivering tools on time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.

Skills

  • Knowledge of all tool and equipment safety rules and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $29.20 - $38.50 per hour, with candidate's pay varying based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
