Tool Crib/Mill Setup Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage Inventory: Keep track of all tools and equipment, ensuring that the inventory is well-stocked and up-to-date.
• Issue Tools: Issue tools and equipment to staff as needed, ensuring that they sign for receipt of the tools.
• Inspect Tools: Regularly inspect tools for damage or wear and tear. Arrange for repair or replacement as necessary.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
• Offline Tool Setup: Set Tooling for Upcoming jobs. Ensure that each tool is set for the proper length and diameter using Parlec Presetter.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Machinist background required.
• Need to have knowledge of an endmill, spotdrill, and how to identify the radius on an insert.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of various tools and equipment.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
