Maintain Inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, consumables, and equipment within the tool crib.
- Handle cash and POS transactions with full integrity, maintaining accurate records and strict compliance with internal audits and inventory controls.
Issue and Track Tools
- Issue, receive, and track tools and materials to/from production personnel.
- Inspect returned tools for wear or damage; coordinate repair, replacement, or calibration.
- Monitor tool usage and stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
Support Operations
- Perform cycle counts and support periodic inventory audits.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems or tool tracking software to document transactions.
- Order tools, parts, and supplies in coordination with purchasing or management.
- Maintain documentation including tool records, calibration logs, and usage history.
- Support machining and fabrication teams by ensuring availability of correct tooling.
- Afford to assist in other operational areas to absorb workload surges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a tool crib, manufacturing, machining, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of tooling applications (cutting tools, inserts, gauges, fixtures, etc.).
- Strong understanding of tool maintenance, calibration, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of attendance and timelines.
