Schedule

Shift Hours: 6 PM - 6 AM (2-2-3 schedule)

Responsibilities

• Helps maintain a safe and healthy work environment for Sorting, Cutting, Rectification, and Wrapper areas.
• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to.
• Follows the Quality Management System, certified to ISO 9001:2008, for all sorting operations.
• Performs necessary Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) audits and assists in delivering weekly safety training materials.
• Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Sorting Department.
• Responsible for reviewing BC and Pack-Stock audits with operations and audit departments.
• Assists the Sorting Supervisor in coordinating operations of sorting, cutting, rectification, and wrapper areas.
• Trains all new hires on safety, quality policy, management systems, operations of sorting equipment, and product knowledge.
• Works with the maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs.
• Provides fill-in and relief responsibility for all sorting job functions.
• Understands pallet and box LGV programs and assists the plant LGV coordinator with scheduling duties.
• Performs other duties as needed.
