Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the reservation system.
- Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Be able to multitask.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Victory Casino Cruises Handbook.
- Be available to work weekends as needed.
- Be flexible with working holidays.
- Field inbound guest service phone support.
- Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions.
- Be aware of Blackout dates.
- Obtain all necessary information when taking reservations.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Education and Experience
- Computer Experience Required.
- Customer Services experience required.
- Money Handling Experience Required.
- Experience in Casino Industry preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Speaking, hearing, reading, and writing clearly.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- No visible Tattoos (includes hands, arms, face, neck).
- Light Work, exerting up to 15 pounds of force occasionally.
