Manthey Hospitality is hiring Ticket Sales Agents to serve as the bold, energetic ambassadors for Pirate Water Taxi. This is a highly proactive, outbound sales role, perfect for someone who enjoys “pounding the pavement,” engaging the public, and turning conversations into ticket sales. About Us Pirate Water Taxi offers a fun, pirate-themed hop-on, hop-off experience along Tampa’s scenic waterways, connecting guests to top destinations along the Riverwalk. As part of Manthey Hospitality, we are committed to delivering memorable, high-energy experiences with a strong focus on guest service. What You’ll Do Greet guests and provide accurate information on schedules, routes, pricing, and policiesActively engage the general public along the riverwalk and surrounding areas“Pound the pavement” to generate interest and drive same-day ticket salesInitiate conversations, overcome objections, and close sales on the spotPromote upgrades, premium experiences, and cross-brand offeringsDistribute wristbands and/or boarding passes, and assist with wayfinding and boardingSupport crowd flow and manage sales traffic during peak timesProcess electronic POS transactions accuratelyMaintain clean, organized, and guest-ready boothsCommunicate with operations regarding capacity and schedulingRestock brochures and suppliesAssist with special events and other operational needs as required What You Bring Energetic, outgoing, friendly, and warm personalityStrong outbound sales mindset—you are comfortable approaching and engaging strangersConfidence in selling, handling objections, and closing dealsMotivation to hit and exceed sales goals (uncapped earning potential)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAccuracy and accountability with POS transactionsAttention to detail in guest interactions and boarding processesAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-traffic environmentsPride in maintaining a professional and inviting sales space Physical & Schedule Requirements Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shiftsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, sun, cold, wind, rain)Comfortable in high-traffic, guest-facing environmentsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift light supplies Compensation & Benefits $18/hour base pay + 3% uncapped commission on all salesThe more you sell, the more you earn—no capMedical & ancillary benefits401(k) with employer matchSubsidized parkingComplimentary cruise tickets & brand discounts Ready to help Pirate Water Taxi make waves?
