Ticket Office Manager - MGM Springfield
The Job
The primary responsibility of the Ticketing Manager is to oversee the daily operations of the Ticket Office and the supervision of the staff. The Manager is responsible for providing all necessary tools, equipment and support to the Supervisors and Specialists to effectively perform their jobs to comply with the high service standards of the MGM. - Manages and leads ticketing staff and supervisors and resolves employee relations issues.
- Oversees employee scheduling to ensure sufficient coverage aligned with projected volume demands, maximizing proficiency and minimizing payroll expenses.
- Controls labor costs through forecasting of ticketing volume, on sale dates and event dates.
- Maintains a high level of communication with all hotel operational departments to effectively resolve situations impacting guest service or malfunctions of department equipment.
- Liaison between MGM and Ticketmaster, Sister Properties, Promoters, Executives, etc.
- Mainters existing standard operating procedures and develops new innovative strategies to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Oversees ticketing accounting and cash handling procedures.
- Coincides event creation, inventory, and ticket allotments to outside companies, Casino Marketing, Executives and Promoters for all MGM Grand Venues.
- Manages and maximizes ticket inventory for all property/venue shows/events.
- Supervises venue reconciliation and prepares daily reports for Promoters and Management.
- Performs other job related duties as requested.
The Ideal Candidate
- Management experience in ticketing operations
- Minimum 6 years experience in a ticketing or box office role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Preferred Experience with budgeting, profit and loss statements
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
- Previous experience managing multiple employees in a fast paced environment
- 5 years of management experience in ticketing operations

Pay Range
The pay range for this role is: $57,900.00 - $77,300.00 This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
