Threadroll Machinist

Responsibilities

• Performs set-up operation process for thread roll machinery.
• Utilizes drawings, work orders, and blueprints to produce quality parts.
• Performs regular in-process inspections, utilizing precision measurement equipment as needed (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.).
• Upholds site safety standards and standard operating procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment malfunctions.
• Completes required production logs and other related documentation with accuracy.
• Communicate urgent needs related to tooling and troubleshooting.
• May be required to participate in regular department training and/or conduct training with new department employees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience running thread roll production machinery (waterbury, reed, hartford, automatic, and hand feed).
• Proficient use of precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, gages, etc.).
• Able to read blueprints and work orders.
• Must be able to read/write in English.
