About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of thoracic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation of chest radiographs, thoracic CT, and thoracic MRI
- Performance of thoracic needle biopsies (preferred)
- Option to participate in the cardiovascular CT and MRI clinical practice
- Daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiothoracic imaging fellows
- Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
- Serve in an educational leadership role within the division
- Participate in shared after-hours and weekend coverage
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- American Board of Radiology certified or eligible
- Sub-specialty training in Cardiothoracic Radiology
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
