🔒Thomaston manufacturer acquired

Edward Segal Inc., a Thomaston-based manufacturer of eyelet, grommet, rivet, and snap fastener attaching machines, as well as custom-engineered automated assembly systems, has been acquired by Georgia-based Morito Scovill Americas. Morito Scovill Americas produces fasteners for apparel and light industrial applications.

The acquisition is expected to provide Segal with expanded manufacturing and sourcing capabilities, as well as enhanced operational support. The company will continue to operate with its existing team and maintain its customer relationships.
