Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining master data records across various systems (ERP, CRM, etc.). Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.
• Validate and verify data before it is entered into the system.
• Monitor data quality and perform regular data cleansing activities. Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors, and take corrective action or escalate as needed.
• Support audits of master data for compliance with organizational standards.
• Learn and understand existing master data management processes and workflows. Assist in identifying inefficiencies or gaps and propose improvements to enhance data management processes.
• Participate in the implementation of process automation tools where applicable.
• Work with various departments (finance, sales, procurement, IT) to gather data requirements and ensure data alignment.
• Support communication between data owners and data users to facilitate smooth data governance.
• Generate and analyze reports related to master data for management review.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines related to master data handling.
• Assist in preparing training materials for end-users on data management best practices.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards. Support initiatives related to data security and confidentiality.
• Help enforce regulatory compliance related to master data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).
• Undergo training sessions on master data management tools and methodologies. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management.
• Work under the guidance of senior MDM specialists to build domain expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance; Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Informatica Certified Administrator, or Tableau Desktop Specialist are preferred.
