Schedule
Full-time 40 hours/week Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Assess patients' needs
- Develop treatment plans
- Provide counseling and support
- Educate patients
- Document patient progress
- Collaborate with other professionals
- Adhere to ethical guidelines
- Continuing education
- Report and document suspected cases of abuse and neglect
- Communicate assertively and accurately
- Participate in clinical initiatives
- Support changes in staffing/scheduling
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, or related field, from an accredited school of Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Family Therapy with experience in health care and in a psychiatric setting, preferred.
- If working in a program requiring substance use credentialing, a SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC required in Wisconsin. A substance use specialty authorization applicable to the state hired in is required.
- Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
On-the-job Training
- Compliance with Residential Care Center (RCC) and Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF)
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- Training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI)
- Mandatory in-services and other in-services relevant to the position
Pay
Compensation for this role is between $33.75 - $63.60 and placement in the range will vary based on years of experience and education.
