Therapist-Behavioral Health - Crisis Care Center

About the role

This full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider is dedicated to a team that includes MDs, NPs, RNs, LCSWs, Peer Support Specialists, and Security Officers. The role aims to meet a significant community need by improving access to mental health and addiction treatment, reducing the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients treated in Renown Emergency Departments, and maintaining communication with patients for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review Renown’s Annual Report - DETERMINATION IN ACTION - to see how we are improving healthcare in Nevada.
• Maintain communication with patients treated at Crisis Care Center for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.
• Work closely with MDs, NPs, RNs, and Peer Support Specialists to provide comprehensive care to adults experiencing mental health challenges and crises.
• Utilize EMR: EPIC to manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Experience in behavioral health and crisis care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Current licensure as an LCSW in the state of Nevada
• At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health and crisis care
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using EMR: EPIC
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
