About the role

The Overnight Triage Therapist at Family & Children’s Services provides crisis services to divert individuals experiencing behavioral health crises from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, jail, and emergency rooms. They perform assessments, crisis stabilization, and clinic-based triage in a secure, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments and crisis stabilization
  • Perform clinic-based triage
  • Provide services in a secure, 24/7 facility
  • Make quick and accurate clinical assessments
  • Document events and remain calm in emergency situations
  • Work in a fast-paced, crisis-centered environment
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

  • A master's degree in social work, counseling, or its equivalent from an accredited school
  • Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Oklahoma or under supervision for licensure
  • Availability to work an overnight schedule
  • Proficient in identifying and treating mental disorders
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Demonstrated competency in conducting specialized risk assessments of suicidal and other high-risk individuals
  • Ability to document events and remain calm in emergency situations
  • Valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record
