Therapeutic Counselor

Role Overview: Provides mental health counseling and support to individuals and families using various therapeutic approaches. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and deliver individual and family therapy. Key Responsibilities Conducts assessments of mental status, personality, behavior, and family dynamics.Provides individual counseling, family psychotherapy, and facilitates support groups.Participates in treatment planning and collaborates with staff, families, and insurance providers.Prepares progress, evaluation, and discharge reports ensuring compliance with standards and confidentiality.Manages billing documentation and attends relevant meetings and training sessions.Engages in crisis intervention activities as part of the team. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in a human services field.Minimum of two years of relevant experience.Licensure as an LICSW or equivalent required.Strong interpersonal, assessment, and documentation skills. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Additional Notes: No supervisory responsibilities; focused on providing high-quality mental health services in community settings to support growth and independence for individuals facing various challenges.
