Therapeutic Counselor

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

As a Therapeutic Counselor, you’ll help individuals and families navigate challenges, build confidence, and work toward meaningful goals. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team where your experience and clinical perspective truly matter.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
• Support individuals facing challenges such as depression, substance abuse, stress, self-esteem, relationships, parenting, and vocational concerns.
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide recommendations based on participant needs.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate counseling groups.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on treatment planning and participant progress.
• Provide support, guidance, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
• Build strong relationships with participants, families, staff, and community partners.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• LCSW, LCPC, or Licensed School Counselor credential.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment.
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
