Therapeutic Counselor

About the role

Provide counseling services to individuals and families using various therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational and medical/illness models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of clients
• Offer individual and family therapy
• Facilitate group counseling sessions
• Participate in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team
• Document client progress through reports and billing
• Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards
• Actively participate in crisis intervention and supervision activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human services field
• Two years of relevant experience
• Licensure as LCPC or LPC
• Physical capacity for medium work
