About the role
Total Achievement Program (TAP) is a therapeutic after-school and summer program for youth ages 6 to 12 years old located in Plymouth, MA. TAP staff work closely with the youths’ families, schools, and community agency providers to support each client’s success as part of a comprehensive treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth.
- Create a safe and therapeutic community by working with youth to build positive peer relationships, manage behaviors in group settings, and develop effective coping strategies.
- Work as a member of a treatment team that provides group counseling, works with youth to set goals, and collaborates with youth’s support systems to develop treatment plans.
- Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by supporting them in developing the social skills necessary to function at home and in the community.
- Support students in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Candidates who have experience working with latency age children or experience in behavior modification are preferred.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting youth is required.
- Must maintain a valid background check and driving record.
Qualifications
- College Degrees in a related subject are preferred.
- Must maintain a valid background check and driving record.
Skills
- Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.
