Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Works in partnership with the provider and the parents, who are treated as experts concerning their families.
  • Completes intake paperwork; conducts behavioral and strength assessment.
  • Facilitates meetings with the child, family, lead provider, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates on treatment plans with the lead provider.
  • Responsible for assisting the family and lead provider in the implementation of the treatment plan.
  • Responsible for implementing performance outcome evaluations.
  • With the direct input from the child and family, enlists the involvement of formal and informal community resources to support the family.
  • Sews the family weekly for periods of time/days that may vary depending on the needs of the family.
  • Discharge planning/transitional service development.
  • Responsible for all required record keeping as indicated by the county and agency.
  • Provides prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, both to stop the crisis and to notify when indicated, persons and agencies necessary for the resolution of the crisis; provides “on-the-spot” counseling that is both helpful to the clients and consistent with the philosophy of the program.
  • Attends to the safety, health, and well-being of clients.
  • Responsible for periodic after-hours on-call duties on a rotational basis.
  • Attends child/family team meetings at other lead provider agencies as needed.
  • Commitment to wrap-around philosophy when working with families.

Minimum Qualifications And Certification & Licenses

  • A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is by having an AA degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 yrs experience, or a Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
    • California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving;
    • and, Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old, excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport, inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM with schedule flexibility based on the program's needs.

Compensation

$24.00 -$26.50 an hour.
