About the Role

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, is seeking a motivated Senior Manager, Systems Engineering for the TF33 Engine Design & System Integration (EDSI) team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role serves as the focal point for all TF33 Depot Support activities at the Oklahoma City site, leading a small group of Depot Support Engineers and reporting directly to the TF33 Chief Systems Engineer in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and serve as the primary interface with ELMT (Engine Life Management Team), PW Field Service Reps (FSRs), Military Customer Support & Service (MCS&S), USAF engineering organizations, and USAF depot operations personnel at Tinker AFB.
  • Provide supervisory leadership for the TF33 EDSI depot engineering team and guidance to ELMT team members in OKC.
  • Lead and participate in CORE initiatives supporting continuous process improvement.
  • Provide technical support for TF33 engine hardware in collaboration with MCS&S and FSRs.
  • Lead and participate in depot investigations for engine hardware issues to identify root causes and improvements, working with ELMT (MRO-E) and CIPT Engineering.
  • Ensure timely responses to technical questions to support uninterrupted daily engine maintenance operations.
  • Create and present major issues and proposed corrective actions to internal management and external customers in various communications meetings (e.g., IPMT, ISMT, SIPT, ELMT).
  • Develop and create standard work for various processes and procedures as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry, or an advanced degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Common Access Card (CAC) for access to Tinker AFB and DoW computer systems.
  • 10% travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience.
  • TF33 and/or ELMT experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD. The range reflects all experience levels, and RTX considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
