The TF33 Component Improvement Program (CIP) Program Manager leads a cross-functional team introducing safety, reliability, and maintainability improvements into the TF33 engine, powering both the B52 and E-3 aircraft. This role involves general program management and close collaboration with Engineering, Military Finance, Customer Support, Contracts, Legal, the Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE), and EVMS.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong customer communications and business relationships to ensure effective and efficient execution of the annual business cycle and contract requirements.
  • Organize and conduct required program meetings (Continuous Crystal Ball, Roadmap, Technical Reviews, and Program Management Reviews).
  • Own profit and loss responsibility for CIP-related business (roughly $20M in annual sales) and meet program-related financial objectives.
  • Manage all contracts/projects through baseline and execution to ensure cost and schedule targets are met, including flow down of contractual requirements to functional organizations and delivery of all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) data items.
  • Use Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools to actively manage the program and ensure Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) follow EVMS guidance.
  • Support and represent the TF33 CIP Program at all USAF/P&W Executive Reviews and drive all proposal and business acquisition activity for TF33 CIP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10 years of engineering, operations, sustainment, program management, or project management experience; or an advanced degree with 7 years of the same experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support Program Reviews.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools restricted to individuals who possess U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools to actively manage programs and ensure Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs) follow EVMS guidance.
  • Familiarity with US Government Contracts, including the proposal process.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks with limited supervision.
  • Previous experience working with customers.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
