About the role
The individual will provide On-Site Program Management coverage by identifying, implementing and maintaining waste reduction, segregation, and reuse programs for customers. They will work closely with the customer's Environmental Department.
Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Conducts Daily Site inspections.
- Conducts weekly RCRA inspections.
- Works with customers and vendors to implement improved waste management procedures.
- Manages recycling programs.
- Manages the 90 day accumulation building.
- Schedules all waste shipments including all recycling materials.
- Manages all document tracking including reports to Environmental Department.
- Prepares monthly waste activity reports for clients as requested.
- Meets with supplier partners to discuss disposal opportunities, negotiate pricing and review current approvals.
- Continuously grows in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Requirements
- Required High School or Equivalent.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
- Four year degree.
- Required 1+ years waste management industry experience.
- PREFERRED 5+ years experience in waste management industry.
- Required Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.

- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Sound communication, judgement, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Must be comfortable building relationships in-person and remotely.
- Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction.
- Ability to write business proposals.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Develops a sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.
