About the role
The Testing Center Assistant (TCA) supports the overall operations and core testing functions of the CNU Student Testing Center with a focus on the “Students First” philosophy. This position ensures the privacy of testing services, upholds the integrity of the testing center, and provides a distraction-free environment for students taking exams.
Responsibilities
- Proctor exams and collect testing materials
- Problem-solve typical issues that arise during testing
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all testing services
- Deliver appropriate accommodations for student success
- Collaborate with the Office of Accessibility Care Team to support unique student needs
- Adjust schedule during peak academic testing periods to meet operational needs
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent education/experience
- Experience with customer service
- Basic knowledge of computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and maintain privacy
- Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and understanding of relevant laws (e.g., Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, ADA, FERPA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably higher education
- Experience in a formal testing environment
- Experience working with students who have disabilities

Pay
$16.26 to $20.32 per hour
