TEST SBBusiness Services Specialist - Youth Career Connections - ECBI (Part-time; Grant-Funded)

Duties

• Assist with the implementation of the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) to conduct outreach, job placement and job retention support services for youth participants in Career Connections.
• Conduct assessments, provide initial and on-going career counseling to program participants.
• Conduct other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of unemployed and low-income population served through program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed organizational skills.
• The ability to analyze program performance and seek strategies to meet performance criteria.
• Experience in networking, job services resources, and creating employer relationships.

Nights and weekend work may be required. Some travel may be required for program meetings, conferences, etc.
