Test Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Applies proven technical and program competency in delivering test facility design, operation and execution solutions to the Tempe CS product lines.
• Works closely with senior leadership and maintains a strong network of customers, peers and internal technical executives associated with product design tools and processes.
• Technically understands and evaluates engineering features and technologies within the CS Test portfolio and understands the design criteria and trades associated with developing a new facility.
• Led a variety of technology capability growth initiatives to keep the organization at the cutting edge of Aerospace technical capability.
• Enables engineering productivity through deployment of a wide variety of cost, organizational and skillset strategies and timely implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Set standards for performance relative to cycle time, schedule, budget and milestones performance and drives transformational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 2 plus years of experience in Engineering Leadership roles or more than 4 years experience in leading engineering projects in an Aerospace Industry.
• Prior experience in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
