Key Responsibilities
- Work with the functional and development teams to identify, document, and execute test cases.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Execute manual test cases for new features, edge cases, and scenarios where automation is not practical.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability, performance, and reliability issues.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Report, track, and verify defects using issue management systems.
- Partner with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide clear test documentation, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders.
- Advocate for quality engineering practices and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain testing best practices to enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes across all scrum teams.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to adapt to project needs and technological advancements.
- Manage the maintenance and enhancement of the regression test suite to ensure ongoing product stability.
Qualifications
- Required Education & Experience: Bachelors and 5+ years or more experience; Masters and 3+ years; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
- Hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts/frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Providing clear test documentation, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders.
Pay
Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Schedule
This role requires 1 day each week onsite in Rosslyn, VA.
