Test Engineer

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Help make the technologies, products and services that make a difference.
• Execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
• Assist in the following areas:
• Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
• Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
• Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
• Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Test program experience including planning, approach, development, review, execution, and close out activities
• Dedication to finding the best engineering solutions with a commitment to process and quality
• Outstanding communication skills for frequent contact with managers, project teams across the company and external customers and vendors

Benefits

Target salary range: USD $72,818.00/Yr. - USD $80,782.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
