Essential Functions
- Conducting and witnessing tests
- Performing diagnostic procedures
- Making measurements and analyzing findings
- Carrying out forensic analysis of failures
- Identifying and resolving failures
- Supervising subcontractors
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Understanding of compliance test standards
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems
- Experience with wire harnesses and cables
- Knowledge of computer hardware and systems integration
- Understanding of compliance and testing industry standards
- Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering theory
- Current and past industry standards for military, automotive, or industrial environments
- Proficiency with various instrumentation and software programs
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Valid US Driver’s License with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical or mechanical component building experience
- 3+ years of CAD software related work
- Extensive knowledge of computer equipment and advanced testing equipment
