About the role
As a Pharmacy team member at The GIANT Company, you will be responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care to customers, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and professional pharmaceutical care to customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Dispense medications according to prescriptions and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain certification and knowledge
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License
- At least one year of relevant pharmacy experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy preferred
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug interactions
- Understanding of insurance claims processing
