Responsibilities
- Possess a proven track record of generating new business by selling Hourly's payroll and Workers' Comp solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.
- Own your territory and pipeline, closing 4 or more new accounts per month with SMB owners.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to first payroll run, ensuring smooth onboarding and strong early retention.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure successful account management and provide valuable market feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners such as CPAs, insurance brokers, financial advisors, and banks.
- Forecast accurately using CRM tools and maintain deal-stage accuracy and weekly forecasting.
Requirements
- 1+ years of B2B field or territory sales experience, preferably in payroll, HCM, Workers' Comp, or insurance.
- Proven new-logo hunter with consistent outbound prospecting experience.
- Experience selling to small business owners, particularly in construction, restaurant, and service industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to self-start and manage short sales cycles in high-volume environments.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and modern CRM tools.
