Territory Sales and Service Representative

About the role
As the face of Ecolab, you will manage your territory, service laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment and systems, and sell new solutions to help achieve a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment. This is a field-based position in the Melbourne, FL market with travel to surrounding areas. During a 12-week training program, you will spend 2 weeks at Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, MN, with the remaining weeks in-field; Ecolab covers travel and related expenses. After training, you will manage, service, and sell to established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory. In some cases, associates may be assigned a supporting role until a territory becomes available.
Responsibilities
- Leverage tools and technology (including tablet and mobile phone apps) to conduct customer visits and recommend unique programs and solutions.
- Communicate Ecolab’s total value to meet customer needs and grow sales within existing accounts.
- Use problem-solving skills to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems.
- Provide emergency service to existing customers via phone or in person, as needed.
- Assist in the installation of equipment and solutions.
- Demonstrate safe equipment use to ensure customers' operations are fully functional.
- Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of sales, mechanical service, customer service, food service, or hospitality industry-related experience.
- Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency assistance, which may occur at night, on weekends, and over holidays.
- Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull, stand/bend/stoop, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to distinguish color (tools may be accommodated).
- Availability to work overtime and drive a company vehicle (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or other advanced training or certifications.
- Previous mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical) in industries related to food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa.

Pay
The total compensation range for this position is $58,700-$88,100, which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance. Many factors are considered when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, and geography.
