Territory Representative

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Representative to join our Global Food Retail Services team in Tallahassee, FL. This customer-facing role involves delivering Ecolab’s industry-leading cleaning and sanitation programs, identifying food safety risks, and preventing the spread of foodborne illnesses. The representative will manage a territory of customers, grow sales through service excellence and new product introductions, install and maintain equipment, and provide hands-on training and audits.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance
• Complete food safety audits based on the customer’s required visit frequency and evaluate each department for compliance
• Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products by making suggestions for improvements with existing products and new innovations
• Train customers on use of Ecolab products and services
• Maintain positive relationships with customers by evaluating their needs with a focus on sales opportunities
• Manage a territory of customers, growing sales through service excellence and new product introductions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of outside sales or industry related (foodservice, hospitality, etc.) experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
• Availability to provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Mechanical experience (plumbing, electrical)
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
• Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification
• Military experience
• Previous business to business sales experience

Pay

The total Compensation range for this position is $58,700-$88,100 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

Schedule

This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Tallahassee FL, Thomasville GA, Gainesville FL, Lake City FL, Valdosta GA, Moultrie GA. Overnights: 2-4 per month. Weekends: Responsible for weekend coverage 1 in every 26 weeks.
