Territory Representative
About the role
Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Territory Representative to join its industry-leading sales and service team. The Territory Representative will partner with other Field Service and Sales Representatives to execute service plans in strategic district accounts and provide customers with problem-solving support. They will also assist District Sales Representatives with launching new applications in current customer accounts and transitioning competitively held accounts to Nalco Water.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine service support to strategic district accounts to execute agreed-upon customer system assurance plans
- Aid Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts
- Offer technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required
- Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts
- Install, calibrate and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Physical ability to access and work in various conditions including confined spaces, damp and dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions
- Ability to lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands to finger, balance, walk, stand, talk, and hear
- Pass a drug screen and physical exam
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
- Experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry
- Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Technical proficiency in chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment

Pay
The total Compensation range for this position is $67,800-$101,800 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms.
Schedule
Less than 25% overnight travel required
Territory/Location Information
This position is based in Cleveland, OH. Additional accounts are located in Barberton, OH, Columbus, OH, Uhrichsville, OH, and the Youngstown area. Less than 25% overnight travel is required.
