About the role

As a Territory Manager within our Infusion Therapies and Platform team, you will represent Baxter and our products in the Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota markets. You will serve as the primary connection to healthcare professionals, acting as both the face and voice of our portfolio. This role involves promoting our Medication Delivery, Pharma, and Nutrition portfolio with primary call points including Materials Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Risk Management, and other hospital departments.

Homebase locations: Des Moines, IA; Rochester, MN; Sioux Falls, SD. Territory coverage includes Iowa, Rochester, MN, part of metropolitan MN, and all of South Dakota.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas across a diverse portfolio including Baxter’s Pharma, Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, and Fluid Therapy products.
  • Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to deliver on volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Call on acute-care hospital customers; deliver effective presentations; and provide product information, demonstrations, and education.
  • Partner closely with Infusion Systems and the broader Baxter team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Protect, service, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Manage and optimize Baxter’s GPO contracts.
  • Serve as a resource for market information to management and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Three years of medical/hospital sales experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support effective sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel to both remote and urban locations, independently or with other personnel.
  • Proven sales performance, a strong team orientation, and solid organizational skills.

Pay

The estimated base pay range for this position is $128,000 - $176,000 annually, with additional opportunity to earn sales incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
