Termite Sales Inspector

Responsibilities
- Physically inspect commercial and residential structures to determine the presence of pests, fungi (dry-rot), termites, and other wood-destroying organisms; calculate the severity of infestations and degree of structural damage.
- Inspect structures for rodents and entry points; assess severity of infestations and damage to products, insulation, and entry points.
- Estimate and sell insulation jobs for residential and commercial accounts; measure and calculate insulation estimates for removal and installation.
- Examine attics and sub-areas when available and accessible.
- Write reports including findings and recommendations using Clark Pest Control’s WDO Code Book (legible and orderly handwriting required).
- Author notes, findings, and recommendations for uncommon situations not covered by the code book.
- Create diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree, and location of infestations.
- Interface directly with homeowners, home buyers, and their agents regarding work to be accomplished.
- Determine costs, estimate crew time, and schedule work.
- Coordinate with crew members to ensure jobs are completed legally, professionally, and within specifications.
- Receive and account for company funds.
- Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in clean condition at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with construction methods and terminology.
- Familiarity with wood-destroying organisms and their impacts.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to obtain a Contractor’s State License Board Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license within the first 90 days of employment.
- Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
Skills
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Willing and able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift, and carry for extended periods (within crawl spaces, attics, and basements).
- Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics.

Pay
First-year earning range $80,000 - $100,000, based on performance. Our sales compensation plans are designed to reward strong results. While earnings beyond the stated range are not guaranteed, top-performing Sales Representatives in the area frequently earn $125,000 or more annually through commissions and incentives. Actual earnings may vary based on individual performance, territory, and business conditions.
