About the Role
Applicants should demonstrate the potential to develop an impactful research program leading to high-quality scholarly publications, along with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Minimal services are expected in the first three years, but in the long term, candidates are expected to actively engage in services to the marketing area and the Gabelli School of Business.
The marketing area is committed to excellence in research and teaching. We are a group of 19 full-time faculty members working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Faculty members have diverse research and teaching interests, continuously publish in top-ranked journals, and participate in various academic events and conferences. The marketing area provides a collegial, supportive environment for new colleagues to develop their research programs and grow professionally.
Our programs have continuously ranked among the top programs in the US. Undergraduate and graduate programs have been ranked between 10th and 46th nationwide by The US News & World Report and globally by edUniversal. We offer classes at our two campuses in New York City. The area values the well-being of our students and invests in their education to support their short- and long-term success.
Qualifications
- Candidates from a variety of marketing specializations are welcome.
- The selected candidate should demonstrate, through their research and teaching, a deep understanding of how the marketing discipline, the marketplace, and consumers are evolving.
- Open to Advanced Assistant Professors with previous experience, recent graduates, and ABDs who will complete their degree by July 2027.
Pay
$160,000 to $170,000
