About the role
The Leading People and Organizations (LPO) Area at the Gabelli School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2027.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research agendas that address questions at the intersection of organizations and society, particularly in areas such as organizational theory and design, sustainability and social impact, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the management of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
- Engage in research that advances human dignity and well-being through ethical leadership, trustworthy institutions, social innovation, and sustainable enterprise.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the LPO Area, contributing to the development of a curriculum that emphasizes ethical leadership and social responsibility.
- Collaborate with the Center for Humanistic Management and Fordham's sustainable business, management, and entrepreneurship programs, including the Fordham Foundry.
- Participate in the broader New York City business ecosystem across Fordham's Lincoln Center and Rose Hill campuses.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, or a related field from an accredited institution (completion expected no later than July 1, 2027 is acceptable).
- Strong research potential and commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching.
Qualifications

- Ability to contribute to the intellectual life of the LPO Area and collaborate with colleagues.
- Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in management and related fields.

Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 to $165,000.
