Tenure Track Assistant Professor Positions in Neuroscience

About the role

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Villanova University invites applications for two tenure-track positions (Assistant Professor) in Neuroscience to begin in August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a high-quality research program leading to publication in respected outlets.
• Contribute to the department’s teaching efforts, establishing skillful classroom teaching and student mentoring.
• Teaching responsibilities likely will include Introductory Psychology, Biopsychology, and other assignments determined by faculty member interests and department/program needs.
• Provide formal and informal academic advisement to students in accordance with department standards.
• Be an active member of our department, college and university.

Requirements

• Candidates must have earned, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a closely related discipline, with proven achievement or clear aptitude for excellence in research and teaching.

• Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
